During the ten-week course at Pains Hill Chapel, as Mark's Gospel is read and taught, participants to explore three questions that cut right to the heart of Christianity: Who was Jesus? Why did he come? What does Jesus demand of those who want to follow him?

In other words, it's all about Jesus' identity, mission and call.

The first six weeks focus on Christ's identity and mission. In particular, course participants will explore the problem of sin and the wonder of forgiveness.

The objective in the final weeks is to emphasize Christ's call in Mark 8:34 - "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."
